Mothering was created by Lauren Curtis out of a personal desire to feel more connected to women who share the universal title of mother, while also building a deeper sense of belonging in her new hometown.

Lauren grew up in Upstate New York and, after earning her BA in Psychology, relocated to New York City, where she spent thirteen years working in Human Resources across the finance and legal industries. She later earned her MA in Human Resources Management, with honors, from Fordham University.

During the pandemic, Lauren supported the development of well-being programming, as well as training and development initiatives, at a major law firm. This work deepened her commitment to creating spaces that foster personal growth, connection, reflection, and care.

She has long been devoted to self-discovery and personal growth and is a graduate of the Hoffman Process. She is also committed to giving back to her community and is actively involved with The Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea. In addition, Lauren provides career advisement and mentorship to young professionals as they transition into the workforce.

Lauren loves being a mother and is fully embracing the pivots and transitions that come with motherhood. She lives in Palm Beach with her husband, Remmington, and their daughter, Sabrina, the light of her life and her greatest dream come true.
